Snailride with a bow

For the new Facebookchallenge for the first of August I used the Snailride digi From BrokenFairy Design, available in the store. http://brokenfairydesigns.weebly.com/store/p37/Snail_Ride_Digital_Stamp.html
I´ve made an easelcard, using Labels Eight from Tim Holtz, out of bright yellow cardstock.
As patterned paper I used a paperpad from Basic Grey the Hopscotch paper pad, it should distract the attention from the image. I added some flowers with pins and a few light yellow pearls and of course a bow, because that is the optional twist for this challenge. Hope a lot of you come and join in this challenge!!

Curly Sue Lioness

There's another challenge on the Lacy Sunshine blog, as always Anything goes! To give you some inspiration I coloured the cute Curly Sue Lioness available here http://lacysunshine.weebly.com/store/p809/Curly_Sue_-_Lioness.html: with my Copics and made a shape card with her.
The shape comes from Dutch DooBaDoo (470.713.302)
Recently bought some origamipaper with the right pattern for her Royal Wilderness. A few embellishments, some burlap and a sentiment was all she needed to let her look gorgeous.....

Spikes, The Hedgehog

Hello, Blogfriends,
For the Blogchallenge on Broken Faity Design I made this shapecard with Spikes the Hedgehog. This image is designed by Morgan MCkinney.

The twist is dry or wet embossing so I embossed the background stamp with green embossingpowder, so its looks like Spikes is sitting under some bushes.

I coloured the image with FaberCastell Polychromos. I used a tree die from Marianne Designs, and a fence from Joy Creative, added some flowers and now my Spikesy is ready to go into the big world. Would be nice if you leave a comment.....

Zane, streetkidz Lacy Sunshine

Because it was my grandsons birhday yesterday, I made this card for him. Boy's cards are always difficult, ecpecially for pubers, a card isn't so cool...
I think I succeeded in making a cool one by using Zane from Lacy Sunshine, coloured with copics.
I had some designpaper in my stash that fitted perfect to the image..

Time4aCuppa

For the mid month Inspiration for July 16th I used the gorgeous Time4aCuppa image. Without time for a cup of coffee I sure couldn't work...
With Krattcardstock I made a cute little box and to decorate I used a mat pad from Me&My BIG Ideas, added some flowers, lace and a button, as well as some butterflies and turquoise burlap. In the little drawer I put some cherryliquor sweets, to go along with the coffee.

I coloured the image with copics and here are the numbers:
Hair: YR27, YR20, YR02

Face and Skin: E13, E11, E00, E0000, R20

Dress: BG57, BG70, BG55, BG23, BG

18, BG0000

Maddie Haddie Steampunk Secret

just for the fun of cardmaking and colouring I made this one, using Maddie Haddie from Lacy Sunshine.http://lacysunshine.weebly.com/store/p1090/Maddie_Haddie_Steampunk_Secret_Window.html
I coloured her with Copics, the colors you can find below.
Distressed the image and the layer with Tim Holtz's paper distresser and coloured the edges with Distress Ink Refill.
The Gear die is from Joy, cutted in silver paper, and a charm finished the card. Hope you'll like it and leave a comment!

Jelly Walk Broken Fairy Design's

On the first of July a new challenge has started on the BFD FaceBook page. As I'm new on the DT, I missed my entrance. So I made this one to solve that problem!!
The little mermaid, walking her jelly is such a cute image and fun to colour. I used Plychromos and copics to get the (for me) right colours, stamped with Coloxbox ink and Versafine. To imitate waves I used some ricrac. The die in the upper corner is from Memory Box. The stamps I used are from Joy!
A dolphin charm and some pearls finished the card. I really do hope to give you some inspiration for the Challeng, you have time to enter untill the end of July! Hope to see you...

Cristmas in July with Christmas Presents

For the blog challenge on the Broken fairy Design's blog I've used Christmas presents.
Not a simple square card, but a side-step card, cutted from dark green cardstock. I coloured the image with Faber Casteel polychromos and used some odourless spirit to blend the colours.
On the steps I parranged a terr, some deers and a charm of a Christmas wreath, On the ribbon is tge sentiment Merry Christmas. Santa and his reindeers are flying above the image..Would be nice if you leave any comment!

Nerissa Mermaid

I like to show you Nerissa Mermaid. I put this lovely creature in a shadow box and coloured her with copics.
The design paper with the palmtrees comes from DISA in the Netherlands, and I added some dies from Joy Crafts and some very tiny shells.
