Chibi No Fishing

Chibi no fishing is the name of this lovely little mermaid defending the fish, I've merged the pictures together, and I colored them with copics.

I added some seaweed and sand and used a die for the finished picture.

LSCOL Senara Mer

For the showcase on Sunday 17-05-20 I got this beautiful image called Senara Mer, to be found in the shop here:

Of course I colored her with copics and I tried to catch the shine from the shell, using different colors.

For the card shape I used white cardstock and a die from Studio Light, STENCILSL250.

One side of the card I made into a beach with some shells, the card is normally used with the two "flowers" on both sides, but I putted him in the upright position.

Trion Happy Hour from SDJPC

And again another gorgeous image #Janice Cullen Collyer made for us colorists.

I colored it with Copics. But I used a lot of glitter-gel pens to give the image some fishy scales.

I was so lucky as to find some design papers that fit wonderful to this image.

The sentiments that come with the image are really great!!

Message in a Bottle by Stampers Delights

Another lovely sea related image from #JaniceCullen.

Message in a Bottle, a lovely little fishboy with his bottle.

I coloured him with copics in the hole range of BG's, but his tail I gave some scales with a silver gelpen.

For the card I used 2 pieces of green cardstock from 14,8 cm x 21cm and folded these into a  bendi-boxcard.

I made a panel in between with vellum, printed with shells.

I used several dies from Joy, and the seaplants are from Craft Emotions

Make a splash, and You are Mermazing, New release Stampers Delights May 2020

In spite of the strange and dangereous situation we are all in, it is fun coloring these lovely images #Janice has designed for us.

I've tried to achieve an underwater world by using metallic watercolor pens from Avec and some shiny blocs from CraftSensations. For the first time its okay, but maybe I have to use other paper. The paper I've used is from ClaireFontaine DCP paper 160 grs.

I've cutted the image with a frame from Sizzix and used a smaller one for the sentiment, which is colored with Copics.

For designpaper I used the dotted paper from Color Vibe, the Color Vibe-Bolds.

After I glued the image on the center of the folded cardshape I added some embellies.

For the waves I used a die from Joy Crafts, called Waves from the Sailing  Home Collection.

For the shells I stamped, coloured and cutted out the three stamps from All Night Media, The Shell Border. I believe I have this stamp for over 25 year..

To obtain a shiny glow on the shells, I used Versamark and extra thick embossingpowder. The die from the ancre was also made shiny with embossingpowder.I only added a fishnet, the waves, some airbubbles (dewdrops) and a seagull.

This time the DT card is a shakercard.

The little mermaid is part of the new release for May, so that's when to color her.

I've colored her hair with BG01, BG53, BG05.
The face is done with: E13, E11, E00, R20
Stars: Y06, Y11, Y02
Tail:G00, V01, Y00

I used a die from Joy, nr. 6002/0971, circle-die from Decotime, to make the shaker and put some sequens in it.
The sentiment which comes with the digi is added in the left upper corner.

Just a cute little fish finished the card.

Fishbowl DT card for Progressive challenge May 2020

Hello Stampers Delights fans, there is new challenge starting the first of May. If you joined the challenge from april, you can ask Wendy Batchen for this new one!!

I've merged the fish and the wall as well as the waterplant into the bowl, to create a lovely scene.

After that I coloured the images with the following Copic colors.

Fish: W9, Y38, Y17, Y02

Bottom: E18, E15,E13, E21,E11,E000

Plant:G7,G5,G3

Flowers: RV06,RV04,RV02

Water:BG0000, BG000, E00

Bowl:B0000, B00, E000.

I used E00 and E000 to give more depth to the bowl and the water.


The card is a 6"square plain white one, and the designpaper comes from 13@rts, Blue Magnolia.

The seahorse die is one from stash.
