Anime let's make waves : Anime Mermaid Lets Make Waves - Stampers Delights

I decided to make a centerstep card with this great image, so I could ad some dies.

The blue card is perfect for a sea background, and the designpaper comes from a paper pad by Studio Light.

I gave her gold/blond hair and a green/blue bra, which I found perfect for a mermaid.

It was much fun coloring this mermaid, I hope when you'r coloring her, you'll have also much fun!

The card for the cardbase is 5,5" x 11"

Step 1:

Line the cardstock piece up in the papertrimmer so that the edge of the card is at the 1"mark, position the cutting blade at 1"and cut from 1"to 6,5"

Flip card over and do the same on the other side.

Step 2:

Place cardstock onto scoring tool and score along the long side of the card from the edge to the

cut line at 1", 2"and 6,5".

Step 3: 

Repeat step 2 on the opposite edge of the card

Step 4:

Score between the cut lines at 5,5".

Step 5:

Fold at the score lines. The first, third and center score lines are mountain folds. The second score line

 is a valley fold, Reinforce score line to make folds crisp.

Chibi Salty Kisses by SDJPC

This month the theme is mermaids, those lovely creatures of the sea.

When I saw this cutie I had the idea to make a box card for her, with a seashore and some lovely seaweeds.

The design paper I used is a sea related one, with all sorts of sealife.

It was so much fun to color this cutie with my copics, especially because I bought a load of refills.

There was a discount of 15% at one of the stores (the only lesser part of the deal was, one has to buy for € 150,-- +, lol)

Progressive Challenge May 22

 For this challenge I've worked with this cute Seahorse.

Each month on the 1st you will receive an email that will notify you of a new post which will be pinned to the top of the facebook page. You will also see a category which says "Products", the chosen image for the given month will be there ready for you to download, the product will disappear on the last date of that given month and on the 1st of the next month, another image will be available and the occasional bonus when we have any events.

I used one bigger image and two little ones, so it looks like a mom and two children...

The image is colored with copics and I used a die for the cardshape.

In my stash I found a dp which is perfect for this scene, a seasight, with some sand in front.

On the "sand" I glued some little shells, found on the beach.

I myself love the sea, and I had great pleasure making this one!
